There's a new community in Charlotte's North End that's all about conserving precious resources – your time, energy and money – while fending off nature deficit disorder. An environment for those who care about the environment, where green space is as important as living space and increasing your happiness footprint is a given. Brightwalk didn't just pop out of the ground a mile from center city. It was cultivated with incredible care and creativity and includes an array of homes, parks, trails and environmental art developed by the McColl Center. Shops, offices and eateries are part of the plan, too. It's a brand new day. Now there's a neighborhood to match.
