Carolina Stories screening
On this Friday, Aug 3, the Charlotte in 2012 Host Committee will celebrate the release of its 30th Carolina Stories video by holding a screening of the entire Carolina Stories video series at the Camden on Park Avenue South End (located right next to the Common Market on South Boulevard) at 7pm. The event is part of Food Truck Friday, free, and open to the public.
Carolina Stories is a series of two-minute videos that showcase unique people, places, and community efforts from Charlotte and the Carolinas. The videos showcase how the region is a great place to live, a community of opportunities, and a region where people represent the new face of a diverse America working together. They also demonstrate what the 2012 Democratic National Convention means to the region and highlight the legacies the convention will leave behind.
Created by local media production teams Bread & Butter Pictures, Darling Media Group, and CLTBlog, the videos provide a comprehensive vision of what Charlotte is and can be. While the screening marks the 30th video in the series, new Carolina Stories will be released every week leading up to the convention.
So if you want some great food and want to learn more about Charlotte, come to the Carolina Stories screening this Friday at Camden on Park Avenue South End!
