Charlotte is quiet again

Sleeping with my windows open the last few nights I’ve noticed that Charlotte is quiet again. No more helicopters circling overhead at midnight, the crowds are gone and even by Saturday, Charlotte was back to her old self. The streets are cleaned up, gone are most of the 25 miles of fencing used by CMPD, and signs that the DNC was even here. Everything looks so normal. So with that, we would like to thank all those who put together a great event—truly putting the Queen City on the nation’s radar. Thanks to CMPD, the City workers, first responders, maintenance crews, planning and host committee and all who had a hand in making Charlotte shine!  Outstanding!
