The plan for Brightwalk is one of creating an inspired urban neighborhood with a rich array of homes, parks, green spaces, cultural amenities, shops and offices.

Residents of all ages will be energized by living in a neighborhood connected by sidewalks, trails and a sense of community that’s focused on parking the car and picking up running shoes, paint brush or planting tools.

Brightwalk is part of the Historic Double Oaks community, a community surrounded by towering oak trees and neighborhoods that are being revitalized through the work of stakeholders and community partners.   The healthy, green, and sustainable tenets of Brightwalk are evident in the recycling of previous foundation and paving materials being used in roadbeds and site preparation for Double Oaks Park, a 14 acre park under construction on the site of a previous orphan landfill.
