Plant and tree selection will be another compelling component of Brightwalk.

LandDesign’s Richard Petersheim and Ann Armstrong, a noted local horticulturalist, worked over the past several weeks to develop final plant selections that will  enhance Anita Stroud Park and the first streets of Brightwalk.

Armstrong and Petersheim developed an intriguing palate of indigenous plants that will bring color and texture to Brightwalk, creating some of the community’s first “bright spots”.   The parks and trails that are part of Brightwalk will combine existing oak and poplar hardwoods, dogwoods, cherries, and gingkos.
