The Quasimodo Project

The Quasimodo Project is a collaborative initiative for arts and culture that is taking place now during the DNC (Sept. 3- Sept 7). It is a grass-roots initiative that is not tied to a single organization, but exists as a result of the professional artists and designers themselves–working with the support of leading cultural institutions. One exhibit is The Mile Long Gallery—an exhibition of digital art, video art, and photography accessible through QR codes located along the main corridor of the DNC: Tryon Street. Using the conceptual framework of CHOICE/CHANCE, the QR codes will also connect two of the main cultural institutions—the Mint Museum on the south end and the McColl Center for Visual Art on the north.  For more, check it out at
